The 14-day positivity rate for Covid-19 testing in Greene County has edged up to 2.6 percent as of May 26 at 10 am, up from 1.0 percent two days earlier.
Greene County public health director Becky Wolf reported a total of 869 cases, with 108 of them “active.”
She reported 40.3 percent of Greene County residents are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Among those age 65 and older, 80 percent are fully vaccinated. Three percent of persons age 12-18 are fully vaccinated; 90 youngsters have received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Second doses will be given June 10 and June 11 from 10 am to 4 pm at the public health office on the B Level at Greene County Medical Center (use the Clinic entrance). No appointments are needed.
